Age Old Truth

Hi guys,

I was just thinking of how most of us (if not all) have been under attack with lonliness and thought I'd share how I've been combatting it. One is by listening to the song below, Emma (not alone) by Jason Upton and then as well as praying for you holies. Its amazing how much closer and connected I feel to you guys since intentionally praying for your weekly prayer requests.

Read the song and I pray you'll have great revelation and comfort in the truth that we are not alone. Keep the faith and continue to pray for each other, there is victory in store.

Love you all, be encouraged,
Melissa

Don’t be afraid baby don’t you cry
Daddy’s here it will be all right
You’re not alone you’re not alone

Don’t be afraid when you’re cold at night
I will keep you warm I will hold you tight
You’re not alone you’re not alone

Look beyond the window there
To the sky above to the open air
Look beyond what you can see
Close your eyes and just believe

The lion roars and the lamb lays down
They live together in a whole new town
They’re calling me and they’re calling you
From the cold hard facts that we’re on our own
To the age old truth that we’re not alone

Don’t be afraid when you scrape your knee
I’ve got a band aide waiting and a kiss for free
You’re not alone you’re not alone

Don’t be afraid of your blind belief
Because the more you fly the more you’ll see
You’re not alone you’re not alone

Look beyond the window there
To the sky above to the open air
Look beyond what you can see
Close your eyes and just believe

The lion roars and the lamb lays down
They live together in a whole new town
They’re calling me and they’re calling you
From the cold hard facts that we’re on our own
To the age old truth that we’re not alone

Don’t be afraid little warrior bride
Your victory’s on the other side
You’re not alone you’re not alone

Misheard lyrics...I know it doesn't make sense but I always thought it was, "I've got a band-aid waiting and a Christmas tree." Kiss for free makes WAAAYYY more sense. hee hee. Keep fighting my warrior brides...fight hard, in faith believing. It is a pleasure and encouragment to fight alongside every single one of you. Be strong and very courageous Holies!

very very good lyrics-- my faves:
"from the cold hard facts that we're on our own,
to the age old truth that we're not alone."
(nice juxtaposition of fact and truth.)
and,
"don't be afraid little warrior bride."
(prophetic name...:o)....)

thanks mel. my issa. miss you.

hey holy terror - does anyone ever call you that? Cuz we prayed you that for like 9 months...

anyways,

good word with the song, just thought you'd get a kick outta knowing that some of us in D & G have heard that as a prophetic encouragement in the last year too...so good on ya. Stand on our shoulders, eh!
