Being above reproach doesn't always stop people from making accusations

um . . . where do i begin?

to the point . . .

CRAiG and i have been confronted a number of times in the past week about our relationship. and there have been false allegations brought up about us . . . one of our students claimed to have seen us kissing. obviously, NOT TRUE!

it's just false preceptions and such, but leadership just confronted us and we had a talk. they seem to be pretty upset and i almost felt attacked, i mean, like maybe they don't believe us.

i mentioned a bit of it in our update. and a lot of it comes from miscommunication about the rules and such. being allowed to do things by the staff that we didn't know we couldn't do.

and now everyone has their eyes on us like a hawk and we are being scrutinized for all we do.

SO . . . was wondering if you could be in prayer about this.

One of my favourite (written down) prayers asks God to protect us from the fear of being calumniated, which means the fear of being slandered.

People will slander us. We do, as Joe says, need to be living lives of obvious integrity. But we also need to not take offence at slander, which is not at all an easy thing to do.

I just encourage you to live lives of such obvious high standing and grace towards those who are slandering that any false accusations will slide off.

Grace,

Aaron
