Trust Him

Do not be afraid, but go on speaking and do not be silent, for I am with you, and no one will attack you to harm you, for I have many in this city who are my people.

I've heard this a few times this summer . YHWH is saying "Do not be afraid, but speak out! I am with you (you are not alone) and no one will attack you (you are safe)"

Also, Psalm 146. Praise YHWH! Do not put your trust in princes, in a son of man, in whom there is no salvation. When his breath departs he returns to the earth; on that very day his plans perish.

Do not put your trust in others, not even your friends and family. Rather, trust the LORD, for blessed is he whose help is from the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the LORD his God, who made the heaven and the earth, the sea and all that is in them, who executes justice for the oppressed, who gives food to the hungry. Read the Psalm for the rest. YHWH is saying to us now to put our trust in Him. He understands that we want support from each other, but even more wants us to trust Him to be our source. YHWH is the one to save. He is the one who makes us strong. It is good to live in fellowship with our brethren, but our trust must be in the God of heaven and earth. His steadfast love endures forever and ever. Amen.

Our time is short. Speak out, act out, do not be afraid. Take this last time and go for it, all out. Don't let anything stop you from doing what YHWH is calling you to do. And use your gifts! God gave them to you and intends for them to be well worn! And then, when all is said and done, we'll give Him all the glory and shout our hallelujahs till our throats are hoarse and the Devil's ears are bleeding! Amen.

Thanks, Joel. And that's from Acts 18:9 in case anyone wants to know.
I've heard this as well this summer. However, I think that for me, the Lord has shown me this not only about speaking out and not being afraid to share what he's been telling me, but also to listen when people give words, and really weigh them(cause its harder to receive than to give in this instance).
I believe that right now this is what YHWH is sharing to some of us as well - to not be afraid to speak, but to listen and receive when spoken to. To weigh the words carefully and prayerfully(b/c this should have been done before it was spoken); not to just push it aside because you believe its not of the Lord(unless your discernment is that good!).
Just some more thoughts on it.
